1I believe Traditional healthcare refers to the regular orthodox allopathic medicine while alternative healthcare refer to a wide spectrum including: chiropractors/osteopathic medicine, ayurveda, podiatrists, naturopathic medicine, etc. You could enjoy the best of both. It is a matter of choice. Orthodox medicine is very broad and has many advantages over alternative in that it is founded on proven scientific principles. This means that it is evidence based medicine (EBM). Most alternative medicine are not evidence based, or at least they are now evolving. That's all I have to say. You may broaden your essay points by addressing other issues like: culture and beliefs, family tradition and healthcare cost, and how they influence the efficacy and choice of healthcare.
