As we grow older our health starts to give in and becomes weaker and weaker, thus the amount of health care necessary for functioning normally also increases but as the income in older age usually decreases as all we have to use is the social security payment each month it is very difficult to pay for all the necessary care. For this case there are special senior health care programs developed to help the older ones.
The different parts of these senior health care programs can differ from country to country but the main aim is still the same: to offer cheaper and more affordable health care for the older segment of people. Usually older people and seniors have the opportunity to visit doctors with no visitation fee and also they have special discounts on medications and various prescription pills.
Some senior health care programs also include free dental care that is extremely important in older age as we all need to eat and need teeth to do that and as dental care is one of the most expensive part of health care this kind of support is extremely necessary.
So as it is obvious that older people need more care, than why not help them with senior health care plans.
